Position: Summer Seasonal Help

Department: Public Works
Location: City of Cuba, Illinois

The City of Cuba Public Works Department is accepting applications for Summer Seasonal Help/ Public Works Employee. This position assists the Public Works Department with a variety of general labor and maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with general maintenance and repair of city streets, alleys, and public property
  • Grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, and seasonal work

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid Illinois driver’s license required
  • Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team

Schedule & Pay

  • Seasonal
  • Hours will vary depending on departmental needs
  • Pay rate will be determined based on qualifications
